At WelloKids, our curriculum has been crafted in line with the Early Years Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, and My Time Our Place Framework. Experiential Learning
We strongly believe that experiential learning is an important part of your child’s growth and development. Our curriculum focuses on providing hands-on, interactive experiences that engage children in active exploration and discovery. Activities such as sensory play, outdoor adventures, and nature play encourage young children to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. This approach not only enhances their cognitive and motor skills but also develops their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities as well as stimulates their senses, strengthens their immune system, and creates environmental awareness.
Communication & Collaboration
Our curriculum also nurtures the social skills of your child by engaging them in activities that promote communication and collaboration. Through group projects, cooperative games, and interactive discussions, children learn how to express themselves, listen to others, and work as part of a team. Our programs are designed in a way that requires children to interact with each other, work together, and demonstrate their problem-solving skills. We also believe in developing lasting connections with families and so, we continue to provide parents with regular updates on their child’s development. Parents/caregivers are made a part of their learning journey and encouraged to collaborate with our educators. This partnership ensures a cohesive approach to each child’s growth and development.
Unstructured Play
At WelloKids, we believe that children must be engaged in risky/unstructured play to develop essential life skills like self-confidence, resilience, and problem-solving. Unstructured play allows them the freedom to explore their environment, take calculated risks, and make independent decisions. By navigating challenges and experimenting with new activities, children learn to trust their instincts and develop a sense of freedom. We design outdoor activities in a way that encourages young children to learn from natural environments, fostering a connection with nature while promoting physical and emotional growth. With these experiences, they build the confidence and adaptability needed to face future challenges.
