Our new Assistant Director will be an experienced Senior Educator who provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator
  • Knowledge and experience with OWNA – CCMS and ChildcareCRM - Line Leader
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and various social media platforms.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Excel in delivering exceptional early learning and care
  • Understand the importance of community as a core part of our philosophy
  • Create stimulating environments for children to explore and learn
  • Be diligent in documenting children’s learning and development
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, building strong relationships with children and families
  • Be proficient in applying the Early Years Learning Framework


Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) or hold an approved Bachelor of education in early childhood
  • Valid working with children check 
  • Current First Aid Qualifications (specific to Early Childhood)
  • Experience in an Early Education Centre
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, caring attitude with a focus on teamwork
